According to him, the donation made is a way of motivating the lads to take their game serious and get prepared to represent their country. He added:
” Today you may take the game as a joke, but tomorrow your parents, friends, family and country will be proud of you if you take the game.
You can be the next generation of National munity just like you, so you can even surpass them and become icon, but need to be discipline” Items donated include footballs, a set of jersey, whistles and some training materials as to keep the team up. Monrovia Soccer Warriors is a community based non-division team based on the Old Road which include U-13, U-14 and U15 teams. Shortly after receiving the materials, the Vice President of the team Mrs. Elizabeth Kollie-Jones commended the Mr. Deah for his farsightedness to donate needed materials to the kids, stating it is a clear indication that the LFA is in the readiness to uplift grassroots football.
“Words are inadequate to express here, but the Monrovia Soccer Warriors family like to appreciate you for your kind gesture. You have identified with us at the right time, at which time we have completely gone out of materials, we hope you and the entire FA family will be a good friend to us.”
