The new recruit of the Liberia top flight side FC Fassell is expected to make his way up the ladder after an impressing show out in the league.
Sunnyboy Dolo will have trials with Slovenian first tier side NK Rudar Velenje this month, his local manager confirmed Wednesday. NK Rudar Velenje or simply Rudar is a Slovenian football club from Velenje, currently playing in the Slovenian PrvaLiga and seated at 10th position. According to Bill Dolo, the player’s local manager, the lad left for Europe last Sunday via Ghana, Turkey and Egypt where he will stay for 10 days to get his visa for Slovenia. Bill Dolo remains optimistic that his nephew will shine while away if, he focuses on what he wants to do best. The 20-year-old winger has been playing for Liberia top league side FC Fassell that has been making great strides in youth development in the last few years. Dolo has played five matches with the ‘Soccer Missionaries’ in the 2015/16 season, but was unable to get a league goal. Dolo was initially developed through Nimba United in Sanniquellie, Nimba County. NK Rudar Velenje is a relatively older club having been formed in 1948, and finished ninth in the Slovenian first league last season.
