The national team of Liberia, Lonestar is in an intensive training ahead of the second leg of the African Cup of Nations qualifier against Djibouti this weekend. Reports indicate that head coach of the senior national team, James Salinsa Debbah is leaving no stone unturned to ensure victory for the nation. Recently 25 players were called to camp for the crucial game.
According to sources from the Liberia Football Association (LFA), only six of the 25 players are local, while Dulee Johnson, Omega Roberts and Kpah Sherman, who ply their trades in Norway, Sebia and South Africa, are making their returns after protracted period of absence. Former NPA Anchors, Mighty Barrolle and Nimba United midfielder, Melvin George, who plies his trade in Asia has been given the chance to make his debut for the red, white and blue outfit after being called by coach Debbah.
