Mr. Keita believes the new assistant minister will work with the rest of the team to promote the primary objectives of the Transport Ministry.
Accepting his new office, Mr. Kansuah expressed his happiness at being part of the Transport Ministry’s family. He pledged to work with the rest of the team to ensure the implementation of all transport related policies in Liberia. He called on the Director of Land and Rail to beef up activities that will vigorously assist the government in the revenue generation endeavor.
The Deputy Minister for Land and Rail, Madam Juanita Traub Bropleh, joined the staff of the Ministry to welcome the new assistant Minister. Madam Bropleh recognized the zeal and team spirit of the new assistant minister, promising to work with him to realize the Ministry’s objectives.
The Deputy Minister, however, cautioned her assistant not to concentrate too much attention on license issues as there are other important aspects in the Division of Land and Rails that would demand the attention of the new assistant Minister. She described the department of Land and Rail as the heartbeat of the Ministry of Transport and urged the staff to cooperate with the new Assistant minister to help make the department second to none.
