The adage that says “give honor to whom it is due” was made manifest when the National Social Security and Welfare Cooperation (NASSCORP) conducted its customary 2016 retirement and honoring program for 33 employees at the Monrovia City Hall.
Twenty-three employees including Director General Dewitt vonBallmoose were honored and 10 retired consistent with Section 5, chapter 3.5.1 of the Standing Orders of the Civil Service Agency (CSA). “We take this occasion to acknowledge and pay special tribute to a unique corps of individuals, and personify NASSCORP’S constant pursuit of excellence. We are very proud of our honorees especially those that are retiring. They have each left legacies of commitment, professionalism and dedication that will continue to impact the Corporation for years to come”, NASSCORP mentioned in a statement. Speaking on behalf of the honorees, J. Waylah Yehyee thanked Director vonBallmoos and his corps of officers for the participatory style of leadership brought to NASSCORP. “We call on stakeholders to rally around the current leadership of NASSCOPRP as there is a lot more to be achieved if the needed support is given to the institution”, Yehyee declared.
