Ahead of the October 10, 2017 Representatives and Presidential elections, the guest Speaker of the 25th graduation exercise at the Billie Call Christian Institute Josiah F. Joekai has warned eligible voters in the pending elections to elect experienced leaders so as to salvage the problems the country is encountering.
Josiah F. Joekai, a representative candidate in district #3 Montserrado County, said voters make leaders by accident which leads to the lack of good health, education system and better facility. “We have failed to elect groomed leaders, we need people of such in our governing system”, he said. According to him, the opportunity voters have is to build men and women of integrity to lead the people of Liberia. At the program which saw a massive turnout, the graduates and parents were inspired and referred to the aspirant as a generous man with eloquent speech. Mr. Joekai revealed that until the government of Liberia can allow Liberians to participate in the economy, there could be no genuine reconciliation. “For good leaders to succeed in today’s unpredictable world, accelerating performance provides an actionable drive for transformation competitive advantage in an ever-changing world. “Those taking leadership role of the country should be accomplished with a track record of innovation and achievement in their primary career, nationally or the districts”, he said. Mr. Joekai added that individual should be motivated to tackle some of the biggest challenges facing communities and the country at large. He encouraged parents to consider kids as precious diamonds that should be educated to have a brighter future. He added that for Liberia to be great, parents should greatly invest into their children, referring to them as leaders of ‘luminary’ who the nation will count on in 10-15 years as professionals.
