It has been alleged that the LP Vice Standard Bearer told the people of Grand Kru to vote the entire caucus out of office during a visit to Gee City, Buah Statutory District, Grand Kru County.
But in a statement issued, Senator Coleman said the statement shows that the LP strongman is ignorant of the developmental progress and successes of the present Caucus and County Administration, as countless development projects have been carried out from County Development Funds, Legislative Support Projects and individual Legislators over the last six years.
“There are so many ongoing projects slated to be dedicated shortly by His Excellency Ambassador Joseph NyumaBoakai, Vice President of the Republic of Liberia and Standard Bearer of the Unity Party, to which Hon. Karnwea will be invited,” he said.
He said the statement may have come from the fact that the LP is angry that the entire Legislative Caucus has thrown their weight behind the Presidential bid of His Excellency Joseph NyumaBoakai and not the Standard Bearer of the Liberty Party.
He maintained, “under the present Leadership of the Grand Kru County Legislative Caucus, the lives of the people are being greatly transformed. And the caucus is committed to doing even more.”
However, he maintained that the leadership of the Grand Kru County Legislative Caucus has reaffirmed its commitment and support to the Presidential bid of Vice President Joseph N. Boakai.
He added, the caucus is convinced that Amb. Joseph NyumaBoakai is the most qualified and best suited to be the next President of Liberia.
