According to an Executive Mansion release, President Sirleaf made the remarks at the end of the Cabinet Retreat held in Julijuah, Bomi County.
She said the Retreat was intended to set realistic targets within a specific timeframe for successful implementation.
President Sirleaf challenged the officials to remain involved and united in completing targeted goals and deadlines earmarked in the next 20 months of her administration.
The Liberian leader will hand over power in January 2018 to an elected President as she ends a two six-year term.
The Liberian leader called on members of her cabinet to exercise leadership characterized by persistence, commitment and responsibility.
The two-day Cabinet Retreat ran from February 25-26.
Ministries and agencies that made presentations include Public Works; Lands, Mines and Energy; Liberia Revenue Authority; Liberia Electricity Corporation; Liberia Water and Sewer Corporation; Ministry of Labor; and Finance and Development Planning.
Others are National Port Authority; Ministries of Health; Gender, Children and Social Protection and Information, Cultural Affairs and Tourism.
