Dr. Tokpa said though he did not win, he remains grateful to the people for the love and massive support demonstrated by the citizens.
He reassured his supporters of his unwavering determination and commitment to the development of the county.
The Former Bong County Senatorial candidate urged his kinsmen to remain united and work together for the development of their county.
Thousands of Dr. Tokpa's supporters from other counties, including, Lofa, Nimba, Margibi, Grand Bassa, Montserrado, among others, also graced the ceremony.
He used the occasion to urge his supporters to rally around a single Presidential candidate in the 2017 election, urging the citizens to shine their eyes.
Also speaking at the occasion, Vice President Joseph Boakai admonished Liberians to work together for the creation of national legacies that will bring hope to the country.
Vice President Boakai said they, as leaders, are under obligation to do what the people say, noting that it is not about themselves but about the country.
He underscored the need to open up opportunities in the areas of education, agriculture, medical and social services for the lives of the people to be improved.
