Minster Kamara stated that Liberia has vast land and rich soil for major agricultural investment to enhance food production in the country.
The Liberian Foreign Minister made the call Wednesday evening during celebrations marking the 22nd Anniversary of Freedom Day of the Republic of South Africa held at a local hotel in Monrovia.
She noted that on April 27, 1994, the people of South Africa gave birth to a democratic system of governance after 3000 hundred years of colonial and white minority rule which marked the end of Apartheid, noting that Liberia played a major role in the liberation struggle against Apartheid.
She indicated that the South African Embassy is now providing visas to Liberians to travel to South Africa, rather than Liberians traveling to other countries to obtain South African visas as was the case in the past.
Minister Kamara assured that Liberia remains committed to fostering bilateral trade between the two countries to enhance the socio-economic development of peoples of the two countries.
