The mutilated and decaying body of the late Baymie was discovered at the weekend in a rubber farm believed to be owned by the deceased located about ten minutes walk from his town (Duo Gorton) by some inhabitants of the area.
According to sources, the corpse of Baymie was discovered lying face down in a pool of blood with some deep wounds on his neck believed to have been inflicted with some sharp instruments.
Following the discovery, inspections were carried out by health workers, the police and a 15-member coroner jury, during which it was established that no body parts were extracted from the corpse.
According to an LNP source, the seven men who are being referred to as 'people of interest', will aid the LNP in its ongoing investigation to know the cause of death of Baymie.
Meanwhile, Nimba County Deputy Police Commander Foster Barney has confirmed the death of the man to the Liberia News Agency, but did not give full details on grounds that he was in Saclepea and not Sanniquillie where the investigation is ongoing.
