Ahead of the October 10, 2017 Representatives and Presidential elections, Montserrado County District #7 aspirant, Alomiza M. Ennos, hope for winning the post has gained momentum.
McAnthony Sherman, a former political strategist of Friends of Kebbeh Collins, has officially endorsed the candidacy of the district former lawmaker. According to Sherman, after due consultation with 79 of the 86 elders within the district, he realized that Alomiza M. Ennos is the best candidate suitable to liberate District #7 from what he called bondage of better domestic life. Mr. Sherman disclosed that their action to support the former lawmaker’s bid to form part of the 54th Legislature is based on incontrovertible and validated visible projects she has undertaken to identify with the needs of the people. “I am resolved with the influence and affluence of my over 2000 plus enthusiastic followers to support the representative bid of the veteran female politician, the chair emeritus of the Women Legislative Caucus, I mean the one time female lawmaker of the year 2008/2009”, he said. Mr. Sherman said that he will campaign with his strategies from house to house, and community to community in ensuring former Representative Ennos emerges as the winner in the pending election. Sherman, who has officially resigned from the Kebbeh Collins’ team, said that he is confident that his current candidate is well poised to win the district that she once led. Madam Ennos was a member of the 52nd Legislature from 2006-2012, but did not contest in the 2011 general and presidential elections. She will be vying for the position on the ticket of the Alternative National Congress (ANC). She once served as representative on the ticket of the Congress for Democratic Change.
