The report, covering June to September 2015, said the number represents a 4.6 percent decline from the 439.1 million gallons produced in the preceding quarter.
The report indicated that the fall in production was a result of technical difficulties at the White Plains Water Treatment Plant.
“On an annualized basis, production contracted by 8.5 percent or 38.9 million gallons,” the report stated.
Meanwhile, the report added that total output of mineral water was 215, 019 liters at the end of September 2015.
The report noted that compared with 447,754 liters produced in the preceding quarter, output fell by 52.0 percent or 232,735 liters.
The report pointed out that the fall in output was due to low demand for the commodity owing to high importation of competing brands of the commodity.
The report also stated that on an annualized basis, production fell by 70.8 percent or 520,131 liters.
