He said it has been observed that some individuals in the employ of the university were involved in a series of campaigns to undermine lawmakers of the county.
Addressing scores of students on the main campus of the university in Suakoko District Monday, Representative Mulbah said lawmakers of the county will not condone any act on the part of employees of the university to instigate 'political havoc' in the county.
He said although the county leadership remains committed to supporting the university in providing quality education, those employees harboring political ambitions should detach themselves from the institution.
Representative Mulbah noted that while it is true that those employees have their right to contest the upcoming elections, it should not be done at the detriment of the institution.
He did not name any employee of the university in his accusation.
