Brownell attributed her statement to the lack of unity among women, and challenged them to unite and speak with one voice.
“Once women put their minds to the message, they will one day be happy,” the women activist said.
Madam Brownell made the statement at a Strategic Roundtable Stakeholders discussion on the Draft Affirmative Act of 2016 which seeks to create 21 Special Legislative Constituencies in the country.
The roundtable discussion was held Wednesday at the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection in Monrovia.
She said unless the affirmative draft act of 2016 is passed now, women would fail in their endeavor to secure the passage of the proposed draft act in the future.
Brownell then emphasized the need for men to support their female counterparts in the passage of the draft act.
