Aggrieved FRC members over the weekend filed a vote of no confidence in all Executive Committee members for allegedly violating Article 9, section 2-3, and 11 sections 2 of the constitution of the MCSSTA.
In their communication, the aggrieved members contended that the Executive Committee has blatantly violated Article 9, section 2-3, and 11 sections 2 of the constitution by nullifying the insurance election result of April 2, 2016.
They further alleged that the executive committee is liable of gross misconduct by refusing to accept the resolutions of MCSS stakeholders and independent observers surrounding insurance elections result even though Mr. Woyea announced that Saarl Insurance Company accumulated 26 votes, while Secure Risk company got 26 but has refused to the sign the contract in favor of the winning company thereby violating article 10 sections 2 of the constitution.
The statement indicated, “due to the aforementioned, 24 of the 27 FRC members in attendance voted to impeach the entire executive committee”.
When contacted, the embattled MCSSTA President termed the decision by members of the FRC as a ‘mere joke’.
According to Woyea, he remains the legitimate president of the association in that no part of the MCSSTA constitution was ever violated as claimed by the FRC Members.
“These people are mere jokers, we were elected to serve the interest of the MCSS teachers, and no amount of cheap propaganda will deter us,” Woyea said.
